Contra Costa Civic Theatre depends on the generosity of our supporters and patrons.

Ticket sales and program registrations account for only a portion of our expenses.
That’s why we offer multiple ways for you to help us serve our vibrant theatre and youth community.

WHERE DOES MY DONATION GO?

  • It costs anywhere from $75-$200 per night for the royalties to produce a play, and $250-$500 per night for the royalties to produce a musical.

  • 951 Pomona has been our home since 1971. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful facility and we fill it to capacity day and night with our theatre and youth programs. All that wear and tear requires maintenance.

    Your generous donations help to keep our building safe and well-maintained so it lasts another 55 years.

  • The average cost to build a sturdy, safe set for any of our productions is about $3000.

  • The incredible artists who create our shows and teach your children in our youth programs are paid for their efforts, as are our professional staff who run the business and maintain the building.
