Musical players introduction

Since 1959, Contra Costa Civic Theatre has offered on stage classes for all ages. All of the classes and camps are part of the "Live at CCCT" program.

CCCT is dedicated to ensuring a positive theatrical learning experience for every student, stressing process, not product.  

Musical Players of CCCT rehearses an entire show while teaching drama skills including ensemble work, vocal projection, character creation, and choreography. Students audition for parts and then rehearse the show — one song and scene at a time. Young actors are expected to memorize lines and rehearse musical numbers between classes.

We have classes for kids ranging in age from five to sixteen. We offer four different levels of instruction for children to develop their theatre skills as they grow. Registration is limited to one class per child.

Musical Kids (ages 7–10)
Musical Juniors (ages 9–14)
Musical Teens (ages 12–16)
Musical Minis (ages 5–6)

Refund Policy:

Full refunds less $53 processing/registration fee will be made up to two weeks before your child’s class begins, if we are able to fill your child’s slot. No refunds will be made once class has begun.
